Many kind comments on this blog really help me want to continue offering the most offbeat music I can find. A great day yesterday on my Oddball Music Blogs Facebook site yielded some amazing shares of music by Mickey Katz, which have really helped recharge my interest in strange music. I’ve also rediscovered a lot of music I posted long ago (by going back and downloading my own files to replace what was lost when my hard drive crashed). It makes me want to slow down and appreciate when I find something exceptional before racing on to the next. So surely the amount of music you’ll find here will be considerably less than in the past. Several strange 45s (including today's) virtually landed on my lap, so they will probably show up here & there in the next few weeks. I also have an album I know will be horrible sitting patiently for me to get the energy to put it on the turntable.
Fellow PCL-er Lex10 helped inspire me further by creating a new header of many of my favorite things. It was designed for my new wordpress blog which I have to say is a LOT less easy to use than Google, but it's better than being homeless.
