For Little Buckaroos

Howdy buckaroos and wranglers, cowpokes and cowpokees. I guess that covers everyone. When I saw the album cover at a local antique mall I nearly swallowed my tongue in joy, OK maybe that's not a suitable expression of joy, but there you go. I would gladly assassinate any one of these lovely people for their garb or boots, remind me, doesn't the word assassinate work for killing to procure Western garb as well as politically motivated murder?

And surprise surprise, there are a couple of awesome songs on this album. I salvaged as much as I could from this battered album, perhaps it was even battered AND deep-fried, it's in such bad shape. But I can live without the few tunes that are missing, but I cannot live without Champ Butler's snappy version of Old Chisholm Trail. Champ and the Range Riders really knew how to get this one DONE.

Oh, and don't bother telling me how badly I processed this album, I really did the best I could, considering. Considering that I am inept and have cheap equipment.

Your blog is the best! Thank you for all the great music you post! i have been downloading a lot of it, and i felt bad, not being able to give back anything—so here is the deal: i have this compulsive paranoïa that makes me import any album into my iTunes only if i have a great-looking artwork to go with it. Unfortunately, in most cases, the photo when provided is low-quality, blurred, skewed, aso. So i spend a lot of time looking for the right covers or improving the ones offered.
i have decided to give to everybody who cares about that (hopefully not too many people are as badly affected!) all the artwork i have edited. Please feel free to download the zip file (around 350 album covers) from this Megaupload link, and to share it with anybody interested.

PS: i am giving this link to several Easy Listening blogs that i visit frequently. Enjoy :-) !

Don't worry, I've reported Cowboy Champ to the police.

("fartia", the word verification is "fartia"?)

What's this world coming to?
