Turd in the Punchbowl

From the dregs of my music collection, it's another mix guaranteed to kill any party stone cold dead. Presenting....the "Turd in the Punch Bowl" mix!!

or: Turd via MediaFire

1. Continental Weekend – 60s Capitol Production Music
Thank you for shopping at E.J. Korvette’s circa 1959!
2. Fuck, I Stepped in Shit – Shat
3. Yabby – Hully Gully Boys
HUNH!! YABBA!
4. Cherokee Boogie – Bullmoose Jackson and his Buffalo Bearcats
5. Hi Nigger – Lord Melody
If Cherokee Boogie can’t make your most socially conscious friends squirm, maybe a song called “Hi Nigger” will.
6. Ellos Me Quieren Llevar - Napoleon Puppy
OK, let’s quit playing around and get to the really annoying stuff, like a Spanish cover version of “They’re Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-ha”.
7. Shoelaces – Rev. Fred Lane
Yup. Yup. Yup.
8. Yipmerdai – Der Dong Dang
Let’s all sing along…...“ying leudiiiii, ying leudi, ying leudiiiiiiiiii...."
9. We Want Dick, We Want Dick, We Want Dick – Gene Marshall
We love the Nixon!!
10. En Hipp Transvestit – Norwegian version of Rocky Horror
No one can rock a Transvestite song like the Norwegians, can I get an “a-MEN” here?
11. Let’s Do the Freddie – Chubby Checker
This gets my vote for oddest choice for a cover version as a last ditch effort for a career comeback. I suppose this song would be better than Freddie performing “Let’s Do the Chubby”….but not by much.
12. Prijzenslag – Dutch game show theme song
13. Shirley & Squirrely – Radio Shack CB Radio album
14. Plaster Song – Ed Sanders
The tale of a small town Cynthia Plastercaster, from the classic “Sanders Truckstop” album.
15. Teaching the Natives to Sing – The Tree Swingers
Yet another slur on brown people!! Shocking!!
16. Quadrilha Para Ingleses Ver – Ze Trindade
Fun fact—the lead singer is a relative of Senor Wences. Would I lie to you?
17. Indian Alphabet Chant – Lucia Pamela
I know, it’s just a lazy-ass shortcut to include a Lucia song on a worst-of mix, but it’s so hard to resist.
18. Wang Dang Taffy Apple Tango – Pat Boone
How’s it go? I don’t know.
19. And the Dish Ran Away With the Spoon – Raymond Scott
Alvin’s girlfriend backed by a swingin’ combo.
20. The World is a Cafeteria – Mask Man & the Agents
I can relate to comparing one’s life to some overcooked green beans and some tapioca that’s been sitting out too long, as well.
21. I’m Teaching My Dolly To Pray – Bell Sisters
And I’m teaching MY dolly to beat the snot outa all the suck-up praying dollies.
22. Cas a Misto – Iva Bittova & Pavel Fajt
Just the way we like our “Art” music, no longer than :23.
23. 45 String Guitar – The Singing Postman
What’s not to love about an off-key civil servant with ill-fitting dentures singing a peppy little Oirish number? Don’t get me started.
24. Fifi's Walking the Poodle – The Chordettes
This 45 record has been in the possession of my friend Jenner as long as I can remember, and I’ve know her since we were 7. Judging by the condition of the record I would have to guess at some point is was used to scrape mud off of someone’s boots, which seems about right to me. For some reason it’s here twice in a row, which only enhances the whole brutal Fifi experience.
25. Dutch radio jingles circa 1989
26. Santa’s Doing the Horizontal Twist – Kay Martin & Her Bodyguards
For all of you Christmas fetishists.
27. I’m Black/Ain’t Got No – 1971 Japanese version of “Hair”
28. Hel-LO! By the Whistling Frenchmen
I lost the real name of this song when I changed computers. This is close enough.
29. Indecipherable – The Polar Five
Fun with untuned instruments.

Oops! There's 30 songs on the mix, but I'll be damned if I'm going to listen to the whole thing to determine what I left off the playlist. I think it's another set of Dutch radio jingles in there somewhere. Enjoy, sukkahs!!

Added bonus: The entire "Clear the Room" mix is ready to download, more horrible tunes for your listening pleasure.....playlist is available here.
